Snowboarding: World cup halfpipe to go ahead at Cardrona (Otago Daily Times)

Wanaka’s ability to host a world cup halfpipe snowboard event this year has been restored after the organisers of the Winter Games New Zealand reached an agreement with International Ski Federation (FIS) and Snow Sports New Zealand (SSNZ) over television rights, sponsorship and the inclusion of the event in the Winter Games.

Winter Games NZ Adds LG FIS Snowboard World Cup (Scoop.co.nz)
