CHAMONIX, France - Former Olympic snowboard champion Karine Ruby has died in a climbing accident on France’s famed Mont Blanc. She was 31. Police say Ruby was roped to other climbers when she fell into a deep crack Friday. Other climbers also fell, but police provided no further details.
